Hi All. I’m needing to buy a new voice recorder. In the BQH training in Candace mentioned that she uses a Sony voice recorder and how she hooks up earphones and mics for both the client and herself. Does anyone know what model Sony recorder she uses, as well as mics and earphones she uses? Or Candace………..if you’re reading this………can you provide that information? That sounds like the PERFECT solution! Thanks in advance! <3

    Hello Jaci!

I believe my recorder is this one. I cannot tell you the mic I use or the headphones, I just used “what was available.” Walmart Basic quality plug in mic and headphones that were simply here at the house, probably ones my kids used in high school. You don’t have to “break the bank” to get a good set up.

    Hope this helps a bit.

@Hara_Katsiki uses an amazing recorder that captured VERY soft voices with no mic needed. Maybe she can remind us what brand that one was… we used it in Berlin in our tandem session and it was stellar.

    🙂

THANK YOU Candace! I need to figure out how to use the mics/headphones. Turning myself into a pretzel so I can get close enough to always be able to hear the client is getting old.
