Eye masks and solfeggio music in a BQH session for a client?

  • Eye masks and solfeggio music in a BQH session for a client?

    Hi all~

I am starting to dive in and do sessions using BQH as well as a few of my own modalities from my work as a Doctorate degree student. One potential client asked me if they could wear an eye mask during a trance’ session piece for they feel they go in deeper that way and also about Solfeggio music being played. Your thoughts? My seasoned practitioners.
I so appreciate any and all feedback and this healing process~ Love, Alexandra

Im not seasoned but Ive done a bunch of BQH sessions and I have them wear an eyemask or scarf. They do say this helps them focus more on their 3rd eye visions. The music part, idk. Not online. Sometimes it can be challenging to hear them speak due to their whispering. I dont think the music would help but be more of a distraction. Just my opinion tho.

One client of mine asked for music during his session and I played soft new age tunes. Solfegio would be a great choice!
I think your voice is supposed to be like music, putting them under, but if a client has a predetermination that additional sounds would help, then why not. The objective is to go into hypnotic state which can differ from person to person.

Alexandra, I would say an eye mask is fine but the music will be too distracting during the session but before the session in pre-talk, relaxing music is always nice and it creates a lovely atmosphere. Be aware if a client wants to control a session to much as they are the tricky over thinkers who struggle to let go to allow themselves to relax and access their higher mind.

I actually used an eye mask in my session yesterday for the first time and the session was amazing!
    The client went very deep.
    Coincidence?I dont know.
I’ll try again and keep you updated

As for music as long as the volume is very low it can be nice.
    Super relaxing, ambient sounds
I always use it and it helps people to relax

Yes, the online vs in person might make a difference with both ideas of eye masks and music…. but I LOVE the idea of experimentation, why not?

The only reason NOT to use an eye mask is if you want to see either tears (emotion) or REM (rapid eye movement) indicating a deep trance. These things can be valuable but… also possibly a tradeoff if your client really likes the idea of a mask.

You could play music prior to the induction to keep sound quality high.

    Great job @Alexandra_Roberts !

Hi Alexandra _Roberts! I’ve had some clients wear ear buds with almost imperceptible binaural beats in BQH- not noise cancelling though. Clients that complain about obsessive interruptive thoughts or ADDish, say it’s been helpful. Some of the clients have had multiple sessions and I’ve done both with and without the binaural beats. Feedback is it has been helpful. (My husband is one- haha- I just asked him and he confirmed for him it’s necessary) I’ve had some clients ask for something for their eyes, and we used a towel or something. I only use them with very few clients though.

@Renee_BozorgOmid what an interesting idea… I’m curious about your choice of binaural beat track or type used… alpha? theta? just plain beats w/o music?

    Tell us more?

    Thanks.

@Alexandra_Roberts I have always known that playing this kind of music in the room or before the session makes a difference for sure.
